About the Role

The position is a summer temporary job, so we wish that you are available for work between weeks 23-33. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities in good time! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

Working as a guard is perfect for you who enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a guard at our office in Köping, you will be part of a close-knit group of about 125 people. The length of shifts varies, but they are often 12-hour shifts either day or night. The schedule also includes work on weekends. The area of responsibility for the Köping office is the entire KAK area (Köping, Arboga, Kungsör), which means that the work may be located across several locations.

As a patrolling guard, you are responsible for performing surveillance for several clients during your shift. You travel between clients by car and conduct various types of checks, including area surveillance, patrolling inside premises, alarm connections, and closures for clients. In this role, it is important to document your work and any deviations you encounter. The work is independent and often feels free, but with a great responsibility. The role of a patrolling guard suits you if you want a job where you can move around. The working hours are mainly at night.

As a stationary guard, you provide security on-site for one of our clients. Depending on which client you are with, the tasks may vary. You may work as a receptionist at a larger company or perform surveillance in the form of checking those who enter and exit, patrolling, alarm management, and camera monitoring. Regardless of which client you work for, your primary task is to be attentive and ensure that everything is in order. You work independently and under your own responsibility, often both day and night.

• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• B driver's license

It is an advantage if you

• have worked with similar tasks before
• have a civilian or military security guard training

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized and can handle periods of high work pace. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you, as a candidate, are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them creatively. You have a systematic and meticulous approach with an eye for detail. Great importance will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
